Today was our third day of digging and it's been pretty exausting but we've made good progress. We've been able to split the digging up into 2 groups and have had 20 minute intervals to allow ourselves to rest for a bit. The island is really pretty, it almost seems as if someone has put a backdrop against the beach as the view doesn't even look real. The beaches, however, don't compare to Bermudas'.

On December 26, 2004 a 9.0 magnitude earthquake caused devastation throughout the Indian Ocean & Andaman Sea, taking over 300,000 lives. In January 2005, The Bermuda High School initiated a Tsunami Relief Project raising over THB 1,153,122 thus far. In June 2006, we joined fellow Round Square school, The Regent's School, on the island of Koh Phi Phi, Thailand & started doing our part to help rebuild the community. This March 2008, our schools unite once again to continue our work.
