Wow I cannot believe we have been in Thailand for a week now and on the island for 3 days!!!
The island is absolutely BEAUTIFUL, but not nearly as amazing as Bermuda of course, which we all miss so much! We have a break right now for 20 minutes until we have to DIG MORE, which we have been doing for about 7 hours a day. We have been working with the Regents School and they are great and hard workers as well! Although it is really really HOT we still have energy and are not giving up. We are almost finished for today and then I am going in the pool to cool off, which has been really nice and refreshing! I miss Bermuda so much and I hope that everything is good and the weather gets better for you :) It did rain once here, which was last night when we were in the pool and it was really cool because we saw lightening in the sky and it was really pretty looking out at the other islands!
Well sorry I couldnt speak longer but its time to get back to digging!

On December 26, 2004 a 9.0 magnitude earthquake caused devastation throughout the Indian Ocean & Andaman Sea, taking over 300,000 lives. In January 2005, The Bermuda High School initiated a Tsunami Relief Project raising over THB 1,153,122 thus far. In June 2006, we joined fellow Round Square school, The Regent's School, on the island of Koh Phi Phi, Thailand & started doing our part to help rebuild the community. This March 2008, our schools unite once again to continue our work.

It's great to hear from all of you. It's sounds incredibly hot and humid! And I agree sweating is so grouse but I suppose a small sacrifice in the big scheme of things. And you're all right, you're helping and making difference. GOOD JOB!! I'm sure the swimming, listening to music and break dancing makes it all better!
