Hey, Koh Phi Phi Don...Here We Come!

Sawasdee Ka, Planet Earth!

Well, there are really no words to describe how absolutely excited I am at returning to my second most favourite island in the world, Koh Phi Phi Don (my own island-home of Bermuda being my first, of course!), to continue our Round Square Service Project that began in June of 2006. With the students and teachers from fellow Round Square School, The Regent's School in Pattaya as our incredible partners, I am filled with anticipation and joy at achieving the goals we have set for our second Service Project together to support the wonderful people of Laem Tong Bay.

Of course, with us leaving in only 60 hours, I still haven't packed one single thing - plenty of time, right?!?

Well, if you would like to see what amazing things we accomplished during our first Round Square Service Project in June 2006, please feel free to snoop around our first Blog site at http://sawadeebermuda.blogspot.com/.

So now, I look forward to watching this Blog site develop after having invited my most amazing students and teachers to join up...wait until you meet them - they are incredible!

Our B.H.S. Team is:
Jessica Burns
Rebekah Can-Rowland
Yanni DelValle
Catherine Finsness
Ashley Heslop
Freya Lawrence - 2nd time!!!
Haley Nikodem
Pansy Olander
Brittany Ray
Rachel Sherwin
Ceola Wade
Caitlin Westhaver

...and teachers...

Sheila Chase - 2nd time!!!
Frances Cook
Howard Walter - 2nd time!!!
and me! - 2nd time!!!

Well, I really have to go and pack now...I mean really!

Sawadee Khun Tina and BHS!!

Not long to go and we will be welcoming you at The Regent's, Pattaya Campus. We have two relaxing days planned for you at our school before heading off to Bangkok, Krabi and then Ko Phi Phi on Wednesday 19th March.

Chulalongkorn University will join us for the first two days and map out the site for the new Resource Centre at Laem Tong Bay. There are 40 foundation footings to be dug and a lot of levelling to be done, so we should be busy and hot!!

Mr. Walton our headmaster and his family will also join us for the last 3-4 days.

Looking forward to working together again and catching up.

Bonjour!

We are the students from the Regent's, Pattaya Campus. We are looking forward to meeting and working with all of you.

Although we don't have much time left before we meet each other. We are all busy planning and preparing for the trip. It looks like we will have a lot of work to do, I hope you are all ready for some digging.

See you on Monday.

Sawadee Ka, Regent's Team Mates!

Listen, if you send me the emails from your Team, I can invite you to this Blog so that ALL OF YOU can also add your posts, comments, profiles, photos, etc.

That was the intention of this Blog - that both of our schools can add to it.

Thanks for your comment. We are so excited to come back to Thailand and see our old friends from Koh Phi Phi Don!
